Media Opportunities: LIVE interview of Australian Muslim Doctors, Nurses, National Chairman and Volunteers.

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Medical Association Australia (AMMAA) unequivocally condemns the vile comments made by two nurses.

"Medical professionals are entrusted with the profound responsibility of providing care and healing to all individuals, regardless of race, religion, nationality, or gender. This noble vocation demands an unwavering commitment to impartiality and compassion. By upholding these principles, we ensure that the sanctity of medical practice is preserved and that every patient receives the respect and care they rightfully deserve," said Dr. Ata Rehman, Chairman of AMMAA.

He further states that "antisemitism, in all its forms, is a deeply harmful and unacceptable prejudice that has no place in our society, let alone among medical professionals".

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Medical Association Australia (AMMAA), a group of 150 Australian doctors, is dedicated to promoting health and well-being within the community through a variety of impactful services in Australia, the Solomon Islands, Malaysia, Thailand, Pakistan, and parts of Africa and Latin America. One of its key initiatives is the organisation of free medical camps worldwide for refugees, offering complimentary medical check-ups, consultations, and surgeries. These camps provide essential healthcare services to individuals who might otherwise have limited access.

AMMAA's commitment to humanitarian aid is evident in its support for global projects, including medical aid and disaster relief efforts across Asia, Africa, and Latin America. Beyond local communities, AMMAA extends its reach to assist those in need worldwide. Furthermore, it invests in the future of healthcare by offering scholarships to new doctors and mentoring trainee health professionals, fostering the next generation of medical practitioners.

BUDGET CONTINUES TARGETED RELIEF AS SMALL BUSINESSES HOPE FOR RECOVERY

The Australian Small Business and Family Enterprise Ombudsman Bruce Billson says tonight’s 2025-26 Federal Budget was ‘the sequel’ to last year’s, offering modest targeted measures to help small and family business deal with specific current pain points and headwinds. The Ombudsman said that struggling small businesses will have to look to and hope for election commitments that present a decisive positive action plan to ‘put some wind in their sails’, lift their prospects for success and to turn around a post-COVID period of tough trading conditions. “Small and family businesses facing punishing input costs that are squeezing margins will welcome…

ACCC SUPERMARKET INQUIRY HIGHLIGHTS NEED FOR CONTINUING VIGILIANCE TO SUPPORT FAIRNESS

The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission’s (ACCC) Supermarket Inquiry report confirms that the supermarket sector is highly concentrated and unduly challenging for small business suppliers, says the Australian Small Business and Family Enterprise Ombudsman. Mr Billson welcomed the release of the ACCC’s report and expressed encouragement at the Government’s continuing focus on the harms arising from acute market concentration. “Just as a lost visitor seeking directions might receive the wry response: ‘Well, I wouldn’t start from here’, so those looking for a properly functioning supermarket sector - capable of delivering durable best value for consumers and a fair go and…
