Ahmadiyya Women Holding Iftar Dinner to Celebrate International Women’s Day at Mahmood Mosque on 9 March 2025

The Women’s Auxiliary of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community (Mahmood Mosque) will hold an Iftar Dinner at Adelaide’s largest mosque on 9 March to celebrate International Women's Day.

Date: Sunday, 9th March 2025

Time: 6:00 PM (The breaking of fast (Iftar) will happen at 7:41 PM, followed by a complimentary dinner)

Address: Mahmood Mosque (6-8 Toogood Avenue, Beverley SA 5009)

Note: This is a Women’s and Children’s Only Event.

The event will highlight the crucial role of women in fostering peace and harmony within society, in celebration of International Women's Day.  Presentations will also be given about the month of Ramadan. Guests will have the opportunity to tour the mosque.  A bookstall will be available for those interested in learning more about the peaceful teachings of Islam.

La Trobe to assess impact of virtual nursing in aged care

La Trobe University will lead an evaluation of the Australian Government’s new Virtual Nursing (VN) in Aged Care project. The national initiative uses telehealth solutions to provide 24-hour registered nursing coverage to 30 residential aged care homes across the country.
