The Australian Koala Foundation (AKF) has updated its beloved Koala Personality Quiz to include an array of new Koalas from their Adopt a Koala program.

The revamped quiz provides an interactive and fun way for individuals to discover which Koala they resemble most based on their personality traits, preferences, and quirks. By adding a fresh, modern approach to the quiz, AKF aims to celebrate the lovable and unique characteristics of these cuddly marsupials.

“We’ve seen how much our community loves learning about Koalas and their quirky behaviours. With the updated quiz, we’ve taken things up a notch to make it even more engaging,” said Deborah Tabart, Chair of the Australian Koala Foundation. “Our goal is to spark interest in Koala conservation, share the incredible traits that make Koalas truly special and possibly inspire people to adopt the Koala they’re most like. Plus, it’s a fun way to get involved with the cause!”

Participants will be guided through a series of playful questions that reveal their Koala personality match, while inadvertently also educating them on specific Koala behaviours. The new format features new, improved personality prompts and interactive elements designed to appeal to people of all ages, from bonafide Koala enthusiasts to those just beginning their journey into wildlife conservation.

By taking the quiz, participants can connect with these beloved marsupials on a personal level, learning more about their unique qualities. The quiz not only fosters a deeper appreciation for Koalas but also encourages users to adopt a Koala through the AKF, directly contributing to the conservation of these precious animals. It’s a simple yet meaningful way to support the future of Koalas while celebrating their distinct personalities.

The Koala Personality Quiz is available now on the Australian Koala Foundation’s website. Those who take the quiz are also encouraged to share their results on social media tagging the Australian Koala Foundation, helping to spread the word about Koala conservation in a fun, lighthearted way.

Coalition Against Duck Shooting

Victorian Premier Jacinta Allan ignores drought, fires, low bird numbers and Indigenous culture by calling a 2026 recreational duck shooting season.

Premier Jacinta Allan is commended for initiating the First Nations Treaty, but calling a 2026 recreationalduck shooting season shows a profound disregard for Victoria’s First Nations peoples and their waterbirdsby allowing a small number of thrill-seeking duck shooters (only 0.2% of the Victorian population) to blasttheir birds out of the sky for fun. Victoria is in debt to the tune of around $188 billion yet this Premier prefers to waste $11 million of ourtaxes on propping up a dying duck shooting activity rather than investing in a First Nations cultural, nature-based wetlands tourism industry. In NSW (where duck shooting is…

New research is shaping the future of urban experimentation

Cities everywhere are running experiments to respond to climate change and sustainability challenges such as new mobility trials, energy pilots, green space projects, circular economy approaches, and more. New research from the Monash Business School has found that many of these efforts stay small, stay siloed, or fade when funding ends. Published in Nature Cities, the Monash research studied almost 2000 urban experiments and identified 10 lessons that focus on three areas: how experiments are designed and learned from; how power and decision-making shape them; and how they create lasting change. Professor Rob Raven, from the Monash Business School, is…
