Celebrate Your Sweetest Moments with Leatherwood Honey!
The Tasmanian Beekeepers Association today launched a competition to celebrate everything about Leatherwood Honey, love and St Valentine.
President Lindsay Bourke said St Valentine is the patron saint of beekeeping and love, so from St Valentine’s Day until the end of March, lovers are invited to post their sweetest moments to #honeyandlove to go into the draw for a luxury Leatherwood Honey gift pack valued at $250*.
“We love how St Valentine is known for love and beekeeping, literally “honey and love”.
“Leatherwood Honey and love share a timeless bond, intertwining their essence to represent sweetness, warmth, and nourishment.
“Just as Leatherwood Honey is nature's golden nectar, love is the essence that sustains the soul, offering comfort, joy, and fulfilment.
“Leatherwood Honey is the finest and most unique honey in the world and it symbolises the richness of affection, and poets compare love’s tender moments to the sweetness of honey.
“Leatherwood Honey’s golden hue evokes warmth, mirroring the glow of love when it envelops two hearts.” Mr Bourke says.
Mr Bourke adds the best 18yo and over entry will win a Leatherwood Honey gift pack and the best under 18yo entry will win a Leatherwood Honey gift pack that doesn’t contain any alcohol products.
He says the old song says “what the world needs now is love, sweet love”, and that is so true.
“The world is in such a divided state, so love between people needs to be celebrated and cherished. We hope that by celebrating Leatherwood Honey and love, the world will seem sweeter for everyone.” Mr Bourke said.
