We are excited to announce the launch of the BEC Volunteer Empowerment Project - a new initiative designed to empower women by providing free online training, mentoring, and networking opportunities. The project aims to focus on increasing skills, self-development, and economic awareness for women from diverse backgrounds.

So, if you're passionate about supporting women’s empowerment, we invite you to get involved!  You will be able to engage in a variety of impactful topics, including:

The BEC Volunteer Empowerment Project specifically targets volunteers and women from culturally and linguistically diverse, disabled, Indigenous, and other vulnerable groups with the goal to upskill the volunteers and help address the unique barriers that these women face. By offering resources and support to break down obstacles to personal and professional empowerment, participants will have the opportunity to connect with like-minded women through networking events, online webinars and mentorship programs, fostering a sense of strong community.

Monthly Volunteer Empowerment Forums with guest speakers will be held Feb 12th, March 5th, April 16th and May 14th, 6pm-8pm at Firehouse Restaurant, Grt Eastern Highway, Belmont.  Entry is Free, nibbles provided, and bookings can be made at www.belmontbec.com/events

This project is funded by the Australian Government Department of Social Services and supported by Belmont BEC Inc., Friends of Belmont BEC, BPW Business Incubator, TCFWA Inc., supporters, and volunteers.
