Sydney, Australia – February 21, 2025 – InMode Australia, a leader in medical aesthetic and wellness solutions, is proud to announce its participation at the upcoming ‘Thriving Through Menopause’ symposium, scheduled for February 24, 2025, at the State Library of NSW.

InMode will highlight the VTone technology, available on the EmpowerRF platform - an advanced, non-invasive treatment designed to address pelvic floor dysfunction and urinary incontinence in women. It utilises electrical muscle stimulation (EMS) and neuromuscular re-education to strengthen and rehabilitate weak pelvic floor muscles. This non-invasive and comfortable treatment is ideal for women experiencing stress urinary incontinence (SUI), mixed urinary incontinence (MUI), and overall pelvic floor weakness.

Addressing the Gap in Women's Health Education

This pioneering industry event is set to transform how menopause experts and industry professionals from diverse menopause specialties approach this pivotal stage in women’s lives. The aim is to embrace collaboration between doctors, nurses, and therapists to enhance patient outcomes as well as address the significant gap in understanding of a women’s holistic well-being during the transitional stages of menopause. The lack of uniform, readily available information on the changes that occur during menopause means that very often as an industry, there is a lack of confidence in initiating conversations with patients that would help better connect and offer reassurance and guidance where needed.

The Thriving Through Menopause Symposium (TTM) aims to change this, bringing together healthcare professionals to discuss alternative therapies that can positively impact women's well-being.

Dr. Aman Bhinder: Leading the Conversation on Women's Health

At the event, Dr. Aman Bhinder, a distinguished healthcare professional and founder of Clinic Auriq, will be a key speaker, sharing insights into the latest advancements in women's intimate health. With an impressive background that includes fellowships with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP), the Australasian College of Nutritional and Environmental Medicine (ACNEM), and the Australasian College of Aesthetic Medicine (ACAM), Dr. Bhinder is at the forefront of women’s wellness as well as integrative and aesthetic medicine.

As a Luminary for InMode, Dr. Bhinder is pioneering the use of InMode’s EmpowerRF Women’s Health platform, leveraging radiofrequency and EMS based technologies to provide safer, more effective, and innovative treatments for women. She has also conducted groundbreaking case studies on incorporating ASCE+ Exosomes by InMode for intimate care, offering new treatment options for women who have long suffered with common women’s health concerns.

Cell death discovery could aid cancer treatments

LaTrobe researchers have made a groundbreaking discovery about the way dying cells are cleared from our bodies, which could have important impacts on recovery from diseases including cancer infection and inflammatory diseases. Traditionally, it was believed dying cells were broken into smaller pieces by the cell’s own internal machinery, enabling the pieces to be more easily removed from the body. However the study, led by scientists at the La Trobe Institute for Molecular Science and Research Centre for Extracellular Vesicles found that the process of dying cell fragmentation is actually assisted by neighbouring cells. Published in Science Advances, the study…
