Keep LGBTIQA+ animal sexual fetishes away from children, says Family First

Family First Party < 1 mins read

The inclusion of children in a Melbourne LGBTIQA+ parade promoting animal sexual fetishes has been condemned by Family First’s lead Victorian Senate candidate Bernie Finn.

“If adults want to explore bestiality themes let them do it in the privacy of their own bedrooms, not in a taxpayer-funded public parade with children marching with them,” Mr Finn said.

Melbourne’s Midsumma Pride event should be stripped of $2.8 million in taxpayer funding, Mr Finn said.

“If taxpayer money is to be provided to community events, they should be events that are family-friendly and safe for children.

“If elected to the Senate, I will fight to make it a criteria of public funding that community events involving children promote positive role models.”

Mr Finn said pictures taken from the parade proved the Midsumma parade was unsuitable for children and it was wrong of the organisers to seek to induct them into LGBTIQA+ bestiality themes.

Climate disasters already cost the economy $38 billion each year, with households, communities, local governments and small businesses paying to recover from extreme weather. These impacts are also driving up insurance premiums, food prices and household bills. Deloitte projects disaster costs will exceed…
