Held at Melbourne's CBD at the Fox Classic Car Museum on Saturday, March 15, during the Melbourne Grand Prix. This exclusive event celebrates people passionate about watches, cars and legacy.

At the heart of the event is The Fox Legacy Watch, a rare timepiece crafted from Lindsay Fox’s original truck, the foundation of the Linfox empire.

Only three exist: one will be gifted to Lindsay, one to his son Peter, and the third will be auctioned for charity, which you can bid on.

HOW IT STARTED
Entrepreneurs Domenic Italiano and Paul Finn were searching for a way to break through when they pitched the bold idea of hosting Wristwatch Check at the Fox Classic Car Museum, with The Fox Legacy Watch as the centrepiece—raising money for charity and cementing the event as something truly extraordinary.
While they fully expected a no, to their surprise and absolute delight, Lindsay Fox and the Fox Family said yes, allowing them to create something remarkable.
HOW THE EVENT WORKS
If you love wearing watches and admiring beautiful cars, then all you need to do is turn up and enjoy yourself.
There are plenty of activities throughout the night, like the whiskey-tasting and cocktail-making workshops. Plus, you can try on watches from designer brands and win prizes by wearing your best watch.

At Wristwatch Check, the most valuable collection isn’t locked behind a glass display—it’s on the wrists of the attendees.
With over 400 unique watches in the room, every timepiece tells a personal story. Some are heirlooms, while others are the result of years of searching. Some are simple, while others are rare and complicated. But at Wristwtach Check, every single watch matters.
Imagine a room full of collectors… one of them adjusts the faded leather strap on his vintage Omega Speedmaster, the same watch his grandfather wore when he raced motorcycles in the ’60s. Excitement erupts as an enthusiast reveals his original Casio calculator watch he got for Christmas in the 90s. Across the room, a woman unclasps her Grand Seiko and hands it to a fellow enthusiast, knowing that no words need to be exchanged. Nearby, someone catches sight of a Patek Philippe Calatrava and immediately asks, “Is that the 96 or the 5196?”
There is no exclusion here—no judgment, no being looked down upon. It's just people who love watches and share them with others who do.
