“Recent Monash University research shows that while many parents are aware of the dangers, such as heat stroke and unauthorised access, certain groups remain more likely to engage in this behaviour. 

“It’s crucial that we focus on targeted educational campaigns and technological solutions to reduce these incidents. By raising awareness and providing accessible resources, we can help prevent these life-threatening situations and ensure the safety of children in Australia.”
