Tide Communications 2 mins read

Ballarat’s own family-run Springhill Farm is teaming up with iconic lollipop Chupa Chups to launch the limited-edition SLICE x Chupa Chups ‘Slice Balls’. Dessert just got a glow-up – no stick required!

Continuing to lead the snack industry with innovative creations, Springhill Farm is again shaking up the industry with a deliciously fun new treat hitting the Coles bakery aisle this month. The SLICE x Chupa Chups Slice Balls are bite-sized wonders available in two iconic Chupa Chups-inspired flavours –Strawberry & Cream and Choco Banana – bringing a whole new level of fun to snack time.

The flavoursome fusion combines Springhill Farm’s legendary SLICEs with the unmistakable taste of Chupa Chups, to create a fun twist on a nostalgic favourite. Aussies will be treated to their favourite lolly teaming up with their go-to afternoon treat. The result? Pure magic and the ultimate snack-ball superhero.

Locally crafted at Springhill Farm’s Ballarat factory, these playful treats are the perfect snack for the kid in us all. Bringing a flavour explosion that is as wild as it sounds, each Slice Ball wraps Springhill Farm’s signature plant-based SLICE around a gooey, flavour-packed Strawberry & Cream or Choco Banana centre. Each ball has a silky choco top and then is sprinkled with crunchy candy shards for that extra crack

This new partnership underpins Springhill Farm’s commitment to crafting high-quality, crave-worthy snacks combined with Chupa Chups’ legacy of sweet innovation for nearly 70 years. The collaboration brings a modern, all-natural, plant-based twist on the Chupa Chups classic flavours Aussies know and love.

“We’re incredibly excited to collaborate with Chupa Chups, a brand that has been bringing fun to consumers worldwide for decades,” said Fiona Whatley, General Manager and second-generation snack maker. “This partnership is a celebration of flavour and creativity, and unlike anything we have done before. It’s such a proud moment seeing a product we have spent 40 years perfecting and loving, blended into a creation with such a global brand. We can’t wait for our customers to experience these unique snacks”.

"This partnership with Springhill Farm is a great opportunity to spread the fun flavours of Chupa Chups in a whole new way.  Blending the nostalgic Chupa Chups flavours with Springhill Farm's expertise in creating high-quality, natural snacks is a fun, fresh take that we’re sure our fans will love!", said Carla Fernández-Moreno, Food and Beverage Licensing Manager.

Whether Aussies are indulging solo or flaunting them at their next snack swap, these Slice Balls bring the party vibes with a decadent plant-powered twist. Each oozing creation is hand-crafted, made with all-natural ingredients and contains no artificial colours, flavours or sweeteners, staying true to Springhill Farm’s mission of delivering mouth-watering snacks that everyone can enjoy.

Boring snacks can step aside as SLICE x Chupa Chups Slice Balls crash land into the bakery aisle of 750+ Coles stores around the nation, available from February.
