Leading Experts to Gather for 2nd International Sports and Cardiac Arrest Australia Symposium

When: Friday, March 7 – Sunday, March 9, 2025
Where: Mantra Lorne, Victoria

Health and sports media are invited to cover the 2nd International Sports and Cardiac Arrest Australia Symposium, an essential event for medical professionals, researchers, and sports health specialists.

This three-day symposium will feature cutting-edge research, best practices, and collaborative discussions on sudden cardiac arrest in athletes and sports cardiology. Keynote speakers include:

  • Professor Eloi Marijon (France) – Head of the Lancet Commission on Sudden Cardiac Death Prevention.
  • Professor Michael Papadakis (UK) – President of the European Association of Preventive Cardiology.
  • Rob de Castella AO, MBE (Australia) – Marathon legend and Director of the Indigenous Marathon Foundation.

This event is hosted by the Australian Sudden Cardiac Arrest Alliance (AuSCAA) in partnership with the Heart Foundation.
