The Australian Workers’ Union stands in solidarity with the Australian Manufacturing Workers’ Union in condemning the decision by the Queensland Government to remove worker representatives from the board of Manufacturing Skills Queensland.
Comment attributable to AWU Queensland Secretary Stacey Schinnerl:
“No one understands the skills we need to support the manufacturing sector in Queensland more than workers in the manufacturing sector."
