The Training for Respect project invites all partners, stakeholders, and members of Victoria’s Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector to take part in Respect and Equality Week 2025 – A Place for Everyone. This is a vital opportunity to champion workplaces and learning environments that are safe, respectful, and inclusive for all.
Running from March 17–28, 2025, Respect and Equality Week is a sector-wide initiative designed to support TAFEs, RTOs, and VET professionals in strengthening their role in preventing workplace gender-based violence. A range of free events, activities, and practical resources are now available to help educators, trainers, and organisations take meaningful action.

Why This Campaign Matters
Workplace gendered violence is a persistent issue in many industries, and the VET sector plays a critical role in shaping safer workplaces for future generations. Under this year's theme, A Place for Everyone, Respect and Equality Week aims to:
