Voters to quiz Kooyong MP Monique Ryan on housing policies

As Australia’s housing crisis reaches unprecedented levels and becomes a key federal election issue, Everybody's Home is hosting a series of online town halls with MPs from key electorates to discuss their vision, solutions, and priorities.

The national housing campaign will continue its online forums on Monday with Kooyong MP Monique Ryan and Deputy Acting CEO of the Council to Homeless Persons Lucas Testro.

This town hall offers voters an opportunity to ask questions and engage directly with Ms Ryan and housing advocates before they head to the polls.

Victoria’s dangerous native logging loophole exposed with critical wildlife at risk

East Gippsland Shire Council has approved a permit allowing the logging of 51 hectares of critical wildlife habitat, exposing a dangerous loophole that threatens to undermine Victoria's native forest logging ban. The privately owned forest is critical habitat for rare wildlife, including endangered Greater Gliders, Long-footed Potoroos and threatened Yellow-bellied Gliders – all species recovering from the severe impacts of the 2019-20 bushfires.
