Memory Walk & Jog Hunter just weeks away!

Dementia Australia 2 mins read

The 2025 Hunter Memory Walk & Jog is just a few short weeks away, with the event taking place on Sunday 23 March at Speers Point Park.

Following overwhelming support for last year's Hunter Memory Walk & Jog, we are returning bigger and better for another year.

Memory Walk & Jog Hunter will help advance the work of Dementia Australia, which delivers invaluable support, education and resources for people living with dementia, their families and carers.

Memory Walk & Jog is about being part of the community and feeling supported. We are in this together, which is why participants can walk, jog or run and select from either 2km, 5.5km and 9km in distance.

Memory Walk & Jog is also a great opportunity for everyone to get active which research shows can help reduce our risk of dementia. Get active and beat dementia. Sign-up to participate in Memory Walk & Jog or volunteer by visiting https://www.memorywalk.com.au/event/hunter/home

Can’t attend Memory Walk & Jog but want to be involved? Organise your own group or individual walk or jog, with a MyWay event. Choose your own date and location and register at www.memorywalk.com.au/get-involved/mw.

-Ends-
