Family First has launched a hard-hitting new ad campaign highlighting the real reason families are being smashed by rising electricity prices — and it’s not what the major parties are telling you.
Family First’s lead Senate candidate for South Australia, Christopher Brohier, says the Albanese Government’s promise to cut power prices by $275 has been exposed as a cruel hoax.
“Despite the promises, families are paying more than ever — and the reason is simple: both Labor and Liberal are obsessed with the globalist net zero agenda,” Mr Brohier said.
“Instead of using our abundant coal, gas and uranium to deliver cheap, reliable energy, politicians are deliberately driving up prices by tying Australia to the failed Paris Agreement and forcing unreliable renewables onto the grid.
“Australia should be the nation with the cheapest power in the developed world. We once were — and we can be again.”
Mr Brohier said the ad was a rallying cry for Australians to reject the insanity of net zero and return to energy policies that put families first.
“If emissions must come down, nuclear is the only proven way to do it while keeping the lights on. Net zero has failed — economically and scientifically. It’s time to get out of Paris and end this madness.”
The ad will be shown on smart TVs, digital platforms and streaming services in the lead-up to the next election, with a call for Australians to support Family First’s campaign to restore common sense to energy policy.
