Candidates for Solomon to debate preventive health

Northern Territory media are invited to a public forum on Wed 23 April during which candidates for the federal seat of Solomon will present their policies on preventive health, and other measures that stop people from getting sick.

The event is organised by the NT Branch of the Public Health Association, the peak body for public health in Australia.

 

What: Solomon candidates forum on preventive health

When: 8:30am-10am, Wed 23 April 2025

Where: Room Palm B, Rydges Palmerston, 15 Maluka Drive, Palmerston

Who: The confirmed candidates who will speak are:

  • Luke Gosling OAM MP (Australian Labor Party)
  • Phil Scott (Community Independent)
  • Lisa Bayliss (Country Liberal Party)
  • Benjamin Craker (One Nation)
  • Jonathan Parry (The Greens)

The forum will be moderated by Prof. James Smith - Matthew Flinders Professor of Health & Social Equity, College of Medicine and Public Health, Flinders University.
