Communication Overhaul – Calling all Alice Springs Aviation Engineers

Civil Aviation Safety Authority < 1 mins read

The Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) invites aviation engineers of all licence categories to attend an upcoming engineering safety seminar to be held in Alice Springs, Northern Territory this week.

Each year, CASA’s aviation safety advisors host free seminars across Australia to help engineers refresh their skills, enhance their knowledge and improve flight safety.

Throughout aviation, precise and effective communication is critical. It can be the difference between success and failure. This seminar is designed to equip you with the tools needed to enhance communication, collaboration and overall operational safety.

Aviation safety advisor, Tim Penney, says the seminar will also cover key changes to regulations that aviation engineers need to know.

This seminar is ideal for aviation engineers, maintenance teams and industry professionals looking to enhance their communication skills and keep updated on critical regulatory reforms,’ he explains.

‘It’s also a great opportunity to interact with CASA AvSafety advisors, ask questions in a supportive environment and discuss issues of concern in your local area.’

Topics covered in the Communication Overhaul – AvSafety seminar include:

  • Various ways and styles to communicate
  • Strategies to close communication gaps and enhance team collaboration
  • Where we go wrong?
  • Tips to overhaul communication for better clarity and fewer misunderstandings
