Easter at Futures Church Reflects a Rising Interest in Faith and Community Connection

Adelaide, April 2025

Futures Church is preparing for a vibrant Easter celebration at its Paradise Campus, as more individuals and families are seeking faith, hope, and connection in the midst of ongoing uncertainty across society.

Futures Church has seen a steady increase in attendance, with many people returning to church or visiting for the first time, looking for meaning and a sense of purpose.

“We’re seeing more people asking real questions about life and spirituality,” said Ps Josh Greenwood, Senior Associate Pastor for Australia. “There’s a noticeable shift, people are looking for something deeper, something lasting. Church is becoming a place where they feel safe to explore faith again.”

Held in the contemporary Christian tradition, Futures Church services are known for their high energy, passionate worship, and relatable, Bible-based preaching. This Easter, the message will focus on the hope found in Jesus Christ, offered to everyone, no matter their background.

The Paradise Campus will host one combined Goord Friday Service and Easter Sunday service, both at 10am, with dedicated kids programs available.

Following the Easter Sunday service, the entire community is invited to join the Easter Family Picnic in Linear Park, featuring:

  • Inflatables
  • Rock climbing wall
  • Petting zoo
  • Family games and activities
  • A massive Easter Egg Treasure Hunt for all children up to Grade 8

“This isn’t just about church—it’s about community,” Ps Greenwood said. “It’s about families coming together, kids having fun, and people feeling welcome and hopeful again.”
