Planetshakers Church Welcomes Thousands This Easter Amid Growing Interest in Faith and Community

As more people across Australia seek hope, connection, and purpose in uncertain times, Planetshakers Church in Melbourne is preparing for one of its biggest Easter weekends yet.

With services and festival events across Good Friday and Easter Sunday, Planetshakers is expecting thousands to gather at its City Road location—many of them first-time visitors or those returning to church after time away.

“There’s a clear shift happening,” says Ps Andy Harrison, Pastor at Planetshakers Church. “People are looking for something deeper than what the world offers. They’re coming with real questions—and this Easter, we believe they’ll encounter real hope.”

Planetshakers is known for its high-energy services, powerful worship, and a message that connects faith to everyday life. Easter services will focus on the core message of Christianity—Jesus' death and resurrection—and are open to all, regardless of background or experience.
