New Gidjuum Gulganyi Guided Walk: Journeying Through the Heart of the Tweed-Byron Hinterland

Connect Adventures 2 mins read

I hope this message finds you well.
We’re reaching out from Connect Adventures to share exciting news about the launch of our guided walks on the brand-new Gidjuum Gulganyi Track in the Tweed Byron Hinterland—an unforgettable hiking experience that invites guests to connect deeply with Country, culture, and nature, and explore one of Australia’s most culturally and ecologically significant landscapes.

At Connect Adventures, we believe that time in nature - walking, listening, connecting can transform the way we live and feel. For co-founders Jason Little and Kathryn Woods, this is more than a business; it’s the culmination of decades spent guiding people outdoors and fostering meaningful connections to Place and Nature.

Based in the Northern Rivers, we offer small-group, fully supported multi-day walking tours across NSW, including the Gidjuum Gulganyi Walk and the Yuraygir Coastal Walk.

Jason brings deep expertise as a seasoned hiker and adventure tourism leader, while Kathryn, a qualified Nutritionist and Building Biologist, infuses each journey with a wellness-focused approach—offering nourishing meals and a restorative pace.

Together, we’ve created Connect Adventures to offer more than just hikes. Our tours are a chance to slow down, share stories under the stars, and walk with intention through some of Australia’s most spectacular landscapes.

We’ve attached a press release and a couple of select images with further details about our premium, all-inclusive, four-day guided hikes. We’d love the opportunity to connect if you’re interested in covering the story or learning more, and please let us know if you’d like more images.

Thanks so much for your time and for supporting stories that help people discover and care for Australia’s wild and natural places.
