STEPS offers major European holiday prize for fundraising gala

STEPS 2 mins read

STEPS Pathways Charity is offering supporters the chance to win a luxury European holiday and cruise as part of their STEPS Grand Winter Ball raffle.

The black tie gala is the charity’s biggest fundraising event of the year, with each ticket sold contributing to critical funds needed to run STEPS Pathways College, a unique live-and-learn curriculum for young adults living with a disability and autism.

The raffle prize was announced at the STEPS Grand Winter Ball Launch Event, giving sponsors and community figures a sneak peek at the gala, which will take place on the evening of Saturday 26 July 2025.

STEPS Pathways Charity Manager Katrina May has expressed her excitement for what she expects to be a truly spectacular night.

“The STEPS Grand Winter Ball is all about bringing our amazing community together, raising awareness for our cause, and enjoying a glamorous evening out with some truly incredible people in attendance,” Ms May said.

“Guests can expect a night of celebration and connection. There’s going to be great food, live performances, and a lot of meaningful moments that reflect the heart of what we do at STEPS.”

This year’s STEPS Grand Winter Ball raffle prize is a trip for two to Europe, including a $5,000 travel voucher from Travel Associates and an all-inclusive luxury 7-night European river cruise with AmaWaterways.

There are only 1,000 tickets available, and the lucky winner will be able to select their dream luxury European river cruise from over a dozen available locations, along with locally inspired cuisine, complimentary wines and beers, and many chances to explore their chosen destinations.

Ms May said that the STEPS Grand Winter Ball raffle is an amazing opportunity for people to support STEPS Pathways College and hopes the luxury prize attracts more attention to the cause behind the holiday on offer.

“We’re giving people the chance to win the trip of a lifetime, but regardless of whether they win or not, they’re supporting some amazing young people,” she said.

“STEPS Pathways College is a unique curriculum with truly lifechanging experiences, and we want to help as many young adults living with a disability and autism as possible to create a brighter future.”

The raffle will be drawn on Saturday 26 July 2025 during the STEPS Grand Winter Ball, proudly presented by Prima Commercial Fitouts. Raffle tickets are now available on the STEPS Grand Winter Ball website and event tickets will be on sale from Thursday 1 May 2025.
