STRIKING GOLD! Diamond Drilling Unearths Grades of 17,240g/t GOLD at the Crown Prince Gold Project near Meekatharra, WA

Jane Morgan Management 2 mins read

There is buzz in the gold fields of Western Australia - and for good reason. ASX-listed New Murchison Gold (ASX:NMG) has hit a significant milestone in the latest diamond drilling campaign at the Crown Prince Gold Deposit. The Company has released the assay results from the highly anticipated deep diamond hole, confirming the underground potential at the Project.

New Murchison Gold Limited (ASX:NMG) (“NMG” or the “Company”) has today announced an update on diamond drilling activities at the Crown Prince Gold Project (Crown Prince) at the Company’s flagship Garden Gully Gold Project near Meekatharra, Western Australia.

The Company has recently finalised a deep diamond drilling program consisting of 13 holes targeting mineralisation down plunge from the south-eastern and northern zone of mineralisation. The target is outside the current Mineral Resource Estimate envelope.

Alex Passmore, NMG’s CEO, commented: “We are delighted to announce an amazing headline grade for the visual gold intercept which we reported to the ASX in March which equates to a gold grade in excess of 550 troy ounces Au per tonne.”

“Together with new information from the surrounding drill holes we also have strong confidence in the mineralising structure persisting at depth. We look forward to progressing our understanding of a potential underground mining operation following the commencement of open pit operations at Crown Prince. We are well advanced in the development schedule and planning for Crown Prince and are awaiting final approvals from DWER and DEMIRS ahead of site operations commencement”.

Enough Recalls: The Safety Testing Gap Putting Our Children at Risk

Key Facts: Australia has no blanket requirement for mandatory pre-market safety testing for many children’s products labelled “3+”, unless a specific hazard standard applies (such as button batteries or magnets). Mandatory safety standards primarily apply to toys for children up to and including 36 months, and to products with identified risks such as button batteries or magnets. In 2024–25, the ACCC published 248 product recalls, many involving consumer goods that posed potential hazards to children. Recent recalls have included asbestos-contaminated children’s sand products and popular retail toys recalled due to serious choking risks. Consumer safety advocates and industry experts are…
