Attwood Marshall Lawyers joins Radio 4BC Brisbane with a new weekly program: Brisbane’s Legal Lowdown

Attwood Marshall Lawyers is proud to announce the launch of Brisbane’s Legal Lowdown, a new weekly radio segment on 4BC Brisbane’s Afternoons with Sofie Formica every Wednesday from 2.35pm.

Our experienced lawyers will be live on-air discussing issues impacting the community — including estate planning and administration, litigation, aged care, and compensation claims. Listeners are invited to call in and receive general guidance on legal matters affecting them and their families.

The initiative also coincides with significant growth at Attwood Marshall Lawyers’ Brisbane office, which has recently welcomed senior legal experts in Wills and Estates, Estate Litigation, and Commercial Litigation.

Attwood Marshall Lawyers’ Legal Practice Director, Jeff Garrett said,

“At Attwood Marshall Lawyers, we believe the law should be accessible, not intimidating.

This segment is about real conversations that help people feel informed and empowered.”

The new Brisbane segment follows the firm’s success with its long running “Law Talks” program on 4CRB (89.3FM) on the Gold Coast. With growing demand for easy-to-understand legal information, expanding this format to Brisbane was a natural progression.

Afternoons with Sofie Formica is a key part of 4BC’s weekday programming, delivering engaging and informative content to Brisbane audiences. The partnership reflects both organisations’ commitment to serving the community with clear, useful advice.

Tune into 4BC (882 AM) every Wednesday at 2.35pm to hear Brisbane’s Legal Lowdown with Attwood Marshall Lawyers.

Commission condemns terrorist attack on Jewish community

15 December 2025 Commission condemns terrorist attack on Jewish community The Australian Human Rights Commission today extends its condolences to the victims and loved ones of yesterday’s horrific antisemitic terrorist attack at Bondi Beach on the first day of Hanukkah. We are deeply saddened and horrified by the violent attack in Bondi during a Jewish celebration which resulted in the loss of at least 16 lives and left many others wounded and traumatised. Violence motivated by hatred or extremism has no place in Australia. Antisemitism is abhorrent. It tears at the social fabric of our community. Antisemitism has been rising…
