Game-Changing Aussie App for Neurodivergent Kids Certified by Global Autism Authority

Reset Moves 2 mins read

Reset Moves, the Australian-developed wellbeing app designed to support neurodivergent children through short, engaging physical interventions, has officially been recognised as a Certified Autism Resource by the International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards (IBCCES).

This global certification confirms that Reset Moves meets rigorous standards for supporting individuals with autism and other cognitive differences. The recognition follows a comprehensive review by IBCCES, and positions Reset Moves as a trusted tool for improving the health and wellbeing of neurodivergent children.

As part of this recognition, Reset Moves will now be featured on the IBCCES Accessibility App, a global platform that connects individuals with disabilities and their families to certified inclusive products, services, and destinations. This inclusion opens the door to a worldwide community of parents, educators, and therapists seeking evidence-based digital tools to support neurodivergent individuals.

“This certification is a proud moment for our team,” said Liam Casson, CEO of Reset Moves. “It validates the work we’re doing to build a supportive, fun, and effective intervention that can help children thrive at home, at school, and in therapy settings—often in under 10 minutes.”

Reset Moves transforms any mobile device into a wellbeing companion, encouraging movement and focus through a suite of gamified physical activities. Trials conducted across more than 250 students aged 5–17 have shown strong results in boosting attention, mood, and physical activity. The platform also offers a real-time dashboard for teachers, therapists, and organisations to customise and monitor each child’s experience.

The app is already seeing uptake in Australian schools and therapy networks, with further expansion planned nationally and internationally. The certification is expected to enhance Reset Moves’ ability to partner with educational systems and allied health providers across the globe.

Reset Moves’ listing now appears in the Certified Autism Resources Directory:

Union takes RMIT to court over $1 million wage theft from counsellors

The National Tertiary Education Union has launched Federal Court action against RMIT University over allegations it underpaid student counsellors for at least a decade, with affected staff potentially owed more than $1 million in stolen wages. The case, filed Friday in the Federal Circuit Court, centres on RMIT requiring counsellors to be psychologists or social workers who hold postgraduate degrees in psychology or social work while paying them at a lower classification reserved for undergraduate-qualified positions. The test case brought on behalf of NTEU member and clinical psychologist Michael Swadling, who is seeking $87,000 in underpayments since 2019, could open…

Deakin University admits underpaying staff almost $3 million

The National Tertiary Education Union has welcomed Deakin University's pledge to backpay casual staff underpaid almost $3 million. The university announced on Tuesday it would start repayments, with roughly 440 staff affected by $2.9 million in underpayments over eight years. NTEU members have engaged in a long-running campaign including allegations of systemic underpayment of casual academics in the Fair Work Commission. The total figure is expected to rise beyond $2.9 million as more staff come forward. Deakin has previously acknowledged underpayments to sessional staff following union pressure and investigation into unlawful piece-rate-style payment practices for marking. The latest Deakin revelations…
