Riders prepare for Day Two of Tour d’Horse

The KIDS Foundation < 1 mins read

With day one behind them and dust still on their boots, Tour d’Horse riders return to the saddle today for the Twin Hills Stud Trophy – The Muster Ride, an invigorating second leg that will test endurance and deepen the bond forming between riders and their retired racehorses.

“Day one was more than I could have imagined. To witness riders meeting each other for the first time, crossing riverbeds, climbing mountains with clouds below, chatting and laughing as the horses took it all in their stride, was breathtaking. This event really symbolises what coming together means, the horse-human connection for a purpose greater than just a ride” said Susie.

Each hoofbeat along the trail is a step toward the event’s $1 million fundraising goal for the KIDS Foundation, which supports children and families recovering from serious trauma and injury.

Backing today’s ride is Twin Hills Stud, one of Australia’s premier thoroughbred operations. Known for its commitment to breeding excellence and horse welfare, Twin Hills is also passionate about giving back to the community - a perfect alignment with Tour d’Horse’s mission.
