Announcement today: Queensland counts every person living with Metastatic Breast Cancer

What:              For the first time, Queensland will publicly reveal the number of people living with metastatic breast cancer (MBC), ending years of invisibility for this community. This milestone event, hosted by Cancer Alliance Queensland and Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA), will announce new data showing the number of people women are living with MBC in Queensland.

Metastatic breast cancer is treatable but not curable. For the first time, Queenslanders living with MBC are being counted and recognised, ensuring their experiences shape the future of cancer care.
