ClockOn Launches HR Software to Tackle Fragmented Workforce Systems

ClockOn 2 mins read

Central Coast, NSW, Australia – Australian workforce software provider ClockOn has announced the launch of its integrated HR module, delivering long-requested functionality to help businesses manage employee records, documentation, compliance, and leave – all within the same platform they already use for scheduling, attendance, and payroll.

The HR software is now available on ClockOn’s “Pro” subscription, starting at $7 per employee per month, with bulk discounts available.

Built in direct response to customer feedback, the new features aim to reduce reliance on spreadsheets, disconnected HR systems, and manual workflows. Businesses can now manage everything from employment contracts to leave requests and incident reports without ever switching systems.

“Too many Aussie businesses are managing their workforce across three, four, sometimes five different tools,” said David Mylne, CEO at ClockOn. “They’re wasting time on double-entry, dealing with poor integrations, and taking on unnecessary compliance risks. We built this so they can finally take control – with one login, one source of truth.”

Recent research supports the need for consolidation. According to Navigo’s 2024 HR Transformation Survey, over 62.5% of organisations use four or more systems to manage payroll and human capital management, leading to inefficiencies and data silos. This fragmentation underscores the demand for unified solutions that streamline HR processes and enhance data accuracy.

ClockOn’s HR module was designed specifically to solve this. It includes:

  • Employment Documentation – Store contracts, offer letters, performance notes, and termination records
  • Document Templates – Standardise and customise HR forms
  • Employment Records – Track roles, departments, contracts, and prior job history
  • Leave Lifecycle Management – Automate requests, approvals, and cancellations
  • WGEA Reporting & Diversity Data – Collect insights to meet gender equality and inclusion obligations
  • Incident Reporting – Record and manage workplace injuries or WHS events
  • Visa & Work Rights – Maintain VEVO results and work eligibility evidence
  • Manager Portal – Enable role-based visibility and streamlined leave approvals

Unlike bolt-on solutions or one-size-fits-all platforms, the module is tightly integrated with ClockOn’s existing payroll, rostering, and attendance features - removing silos and syncing employee data across every function.

“This is about helping real businesses solve real problems” said Mylne. “If you're already running payroll and scheduling in ClockOn, adding HR should be effortless – and that’s exactly what we’ve built.”

ClockOn’s HR module is purpose-built for Australian businesses looking for clarity, control, and compliance without complexity. A free product demo is available via www.clockon.com.au for teams ready to streamline their workforce operations.
