Euro Manganese Signs LOI and Offtake Term Sheet with Integrals Power to Supply High-Purity Manganese for Next-Gen Batteries

Jane Morgan Management 2 mins read

Sydney, Australia – Euro Manganese Inc. (TSXV/ASX:EMN; Frankfurt: E060), a battery materials company focused on producing high-purity manganese for the electric vehicle (EV) industry, is pleased to announce it has entered into a Letter of Intent (LOI) and Offtake Term Sheet with Integrals Power Limited (IPL), a UK-based battery materials company, marking a key milestone in Euro Manganese’s strategy to supply Europe’s rapidly evolving battery sector with high-purity manganese.

Under the non-binding LOI and Offtake Term Sheet, Euro Manganese will supply battery-grade high-purity manganese sulphate monohydrate (HPMSM) from its Chvaletice Manganese Project in the Czech Republic. The agreement includes an initial supply term of seven years, with potential renewals, and provides a framework for technical qualification, pricing mechanisms, and future collaboration.

Key Terms of the Agreement

  • The LOI outlines a commercial pathway for Euro Manganese to become a key feedstock supplier for IPL’s advanced Lithium Manganese Iron Phosphate (LMFP) cathode materials.

  • An initial test work program will begin in Q3 2025 to assess product compatibility and qualify Chvaletice HPMSM for IPL’s production process.

  • Deliveries will commence following successful qualification and first commercial production.

  • Pricing will be benchmark-linked and include mechanisms to reflect market movements.

  • The Term Sheet also supports supply to IPL licensees, expanding the reach of the agreement.

Euro Manganese President and CEO Martina Blahova confirmed:

We are excited to partner with Integrals Power to advance new battery technologies. IPL's innovative cathode materials are at the forefront of the global transition towards safer, more sustainable, and cost-effective battery solutions and are designed to support a wide range of applications. We look forward to supplying fully traceable, responsibly produced products that enhance energy efficiency and drive emissions reduction."

Integrals Power CEO Behnam Hormozi added:

Our collaboration with Euro Manganese is a major step forward in securing a reliable, traceable, and local supply of high-purity manganese — a key ingredient in our L(M)FP cathode materials. This partnership enhances Integrals Power’s ability to scale cathode production sustainably while supporting the growing demand for high-performance battery technologies across UK & Europe. It aligns perfectly with our mission to build a resilient, transparent supply chain that underpins the energy transition."

The Chvaletice Manganese Project is the only sizeable manganese resource in the European Union and a flagship example of waste-to-value recycling. It is designed to reprocess historic mine tailings into a critical input for the clean energy transition.

Glencore Pays More Next Door: Ulan Mine Workers Strike Over Unfair Pay Gap with Sister Site

Work at Glencore’s Ulan underground operations ceased this afternoon as MEU members began 24 hours of strike action. Fed-up MEU members voted to down tools for 24 hours across all midweek shifts after 16 months of enterprise bargaining meetings failed to deliver a satisfactory agreement. The key issue is Glencore’s refusal to lift pay rates to match those at the neighbouring Glencore-owned underground mine, Ulan West. “It simply doesn’t pass the pub test. We work for the same company, doing the same work just two kilometres down the road. We should be on the same base rate.” said Craig Carberry,…
