The following can be attributed to Ms Robinson:

"Community health services play a vital role in keeping Victorians well and out of hospitals. Each year we support 1 in 10 Victorians to access affordable care close to home."

"Community health delivers a wide range of services funded by the Victorian and Federal government to meet the diverse needs of all Victorians. This unique service scope means that community health can act as a ‘one-stop-shop' offering tailored, wrap-around support that delivers better outcomes and experience for Victorians."

"Over the past two years we have seen demand for community health services rise and the work of community health continue to be critical in meeting the healthcare needs of Victorians, including those living with chronic disease."

"With cost-of-living pressures still front and centre for many Victorians, community health provides a critical safety net to ensure every Victorian can access affordable health care close to home."

"Community health provides accessible and affordable local primary care services, where people would otherwise miss out, to reduce health inequity and improve health outcomes in our communities."

Key Facts:

Community health services save the Victorian Government tens of millions of dollars each year by preventing avoidable hospital presentations and other healthcare costs.
