NX Australia Opens NX Kemps Creek Warehouse in Western Sydney

Nippon Express (Australia) Pty Ltd. (hereinafter "NX Australia"), a group company of NIPPON EXPRESS HOLDINGS, INC., opened the NX Kemps Creek warehouse on Monday, May 12, in The YARDS, an industrial estate in Kemps Creek, New South Wales. This new business location mainly handles high-tech products and consumer goods, and is characterized by a design with excellent environmental performance.

Strategic location: The YARDS industrial estate

The new warehouse is situated in The YARDS, a new large-scale industrial estate developed in Kemps Creek, Western Sydney, covering a total area of 77 hectares and housing more than 14 state-of-the-art facilities. The estate serves as a major transport junction with excellent access to multiple highways and close proximity to the Western Sydney International Airport scheduled to open in 2026. As such, it is expected to develop into a new industrial hub in Western Sydney. Designed with the local community and environment in mind, this is the first industrial estate in Australia to receive the "6 Star Green Star Communities" (*) certification in recognition of the high level of integration of sustainability and community needs based on an environmentally conscious design philosophy.

Main features of the NX Kemps Creek warehouse

The new NX Kemps Creek warehouse opened by NX Australia covers a total area of around 17,000 square meters and is equipped with the latest logistics systems.

- High storage efficiency: The warehouse is equipped with a high-rise rack system and a ceiling height of up to 14.6 meters, maximizing the use of space and achieving efficient product storage.

- Wide-ranging logistics services: In addition to basic warehousing operations such as receiving, shipping, picking and packing, the facility can also flexibly handle distribution processing operations such as kitting (product assembly and set-up) and attaching price tags to meet the diverse needs of customers.

- Principal goods handled and future plans: The warehouse will mainly handle high-tech products and consumer goods. In the future, the services offered will be expanded to include the introduction of temperature-control functions for handling pharmaceuticals in order to meet a wider range of product needs.

In operating the NX Kemps Creek warehouse, the NX Group will further bolster its logistics functions in Australia and help customers optimize their global supply chains and business growth.
