HIGHLIGHTS

  • 18 month contract signed with Vault Minerals for aerial data services at the King of the Hills (KOTH) gold operation in WA, following the successful completion of the previous contract
  • Scope expanded to include remote xBot® operations, with automated data processing complementing the existing conventional drone services and on-site support
  • Estimated contract value of ~A$705,000 over 18 month term
  • Agreement follows on from the previous 3-year drone services contract with Vault (formerly Red 5)  at KOTH, announced on 8 June 2022

RocketDNA Ltd (ASX: RKT) (RocketDNA or the Company), a technology services company specialising in AI-powered drone solutions, is pleased to announce its subsidiary, RocketDNA (WA) Pty Ltd has signed an eighteen month contract with Vault Minerals Limited (ASX: VAU) (formerly Red 5 Limited), for the continued provision of integrated aerial data services at the King of the Hills (KOTH) gold operation in Western Australia, operated by Vault’s subsidiary, Greenstone Resources (WA) Pty Ltd.

The new agreement consolidates RocketDNA’s existing provision of conventional drone services and expands the scope to include the Company’s latest remote autonomous drone (xBot®) capabilities and automated data processing workflows.

These will be deployed alongside RocketDNA’s proprietary SiteTube® platform, with operational support delivered both on-site and remotely from the Company’s hubs in Perth and Adelaide.

Managing Director & CEO of RocketDNA, Christopher Clark, commented: “This contract not only reflects Vault’s confidence in our service but also marks a milestone in integrating remote autonomous operations into daily mining workflows.

We’re proud to deliver both boots-on-the-ground and remote capabilities that improve safety, consistency, and site-wide data intelligence.

King of the Hills Gold Operation has been a strong supporter of RocketDNA's xBot® solution, providing a proving ground for the hardware shortly after its regulatory approval and becoming an early adopter of the SiteTube® platform.

The value-add from these technologies has culminated in this long-term commitment, and with the further addition of RocketDNA’s automated data processing workflow, has further strengthened the long-standing partnership between RocketDNA and Vault.

The contract has an estimated Total Contract Value (TCV) of A$705k and an estimated Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) of A$470k.

Some components of the contract are provided based on day, hourly or usage rates, and the contract also includes a provision for inflationary price increases.

The estimated TCV and ARR assume utilisation of all services at current usage levels, with the services to be delivered under individual purchase orders, at the agreed-upon initial contract pricing.

The contract also incorporates a 90-day termination notice period.
