Located in southern China, the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, with abundant sunshine and rainfall, is a natural "kingdom of sugarcane". During the 2024/2025 crushing season, the planting area of sugarcane in the region reached 11.35 million mu (approximately 756,667 hectares), an increase of 110,000 mu year-on-year. The output of sugar exceeded 6.4 million tons, and the region has maintained a 60% share of China's total sugar output for 20 consecutive crushing seasons, truly living up to its reputation as the "National Sugar Barn".
