Family First Surges Ahead with Record Support for State Election Campaign

Family First 2 mins read

Family First is proud to announce the remarkable momentum building behind its campaign for the upcoming South Australian state election, led by Legislative Council candidate Deepa Mathew.

In just six weeks leading up to the end of June 2025, Family First received over $450,000 in donations from more than 5,500 generous supporters from South Australia and over 80,000 across Australia.  This unprecedented level of support underscores the strong community desire for principled representation in Parliament that stands up for families, values, and freedom.

“This extraordinary response shows that South Australians want a voice that reflects their values in the Legislative Council,” said Deepa Mathew. “I am humbled by the generosity of so many people who believe in our vision for a stronger future for families.”

Alongside this financial support, Family First has also significantly expanded its membership and volunteer base, ensuring a strong grassroots presence across the state. Hundreds of volunteers are preparing to:

  • Letterbox key electorates
  • Attend polling booths
  • Engage with communities directly through local campaigning efforts

Ms Mathew is deeply grateful for the groundswell of support:
“From families in the suburbs to small business owners and community leaders, South Australians are backing Family First to bring integrity, common sense, and strong values back into Parliament.”

With the campaign gaining momentum, Family First is confident that this level of community backing will help deliver a strong result in the South Australian state election.

FUTURES CHURCH Media Alert Celebrate Hope This Christmas at Futures Church Christmas is a season that reminds us of something the world desperately needs: hope. "The loss of hope contributes to significant mental health challenges," said Pastor Josh Greenwood, Lead Pastor, Futures Church Australia. "When people lose hope, they lose their sense of direction and purpose. But Christmas reminds us that hope is not just wishful thinking, it's anchored in something real." Over 2,000 years ago, hope arrived in the most unexpected way—a baby born in a manger, bringing light into darkness and promise into uncertainty. "Hope changes everything. It…
