MyState Bank cuts variable mortgage lending rates by 0.25%



MyState Bank has announced a 0.25% p.a. reduction in variable
mortgage lending rates, effective from 28th August, 2025.

This change will apply to new and existing customers across owner-occupied and residential investment loans.
Customers will be advised in writing of new repayment details in the coming weeks.

NAB to face Australia’s first bank shareholder resolutions on nature risk on Friday

NAB shareholders will vote on Australia’s first bank shareholder resolutions on deforestation at the bank’s annual meeting on Friday. The resolutions call on the bank, which is Australia’s biggest agribusiness lender, to disclose how much it lends to customers involved in deforestation and set a strategy to stop financing it.
