WHAT: Former Ironwoman champion and mum-of-three, Candice Warner, will officially open the 2025 Voltaren City2Surf this Sunday, and then join the 90,000 Australians rediscovering the joy of movement at the world’s largest fun-run.
After opening the race with the ‘Elite Wave’ at 7:35am, Candice will be race ready at the start-line, joining tens of thousands of Aussies who will run, walk and groove the 14km course from the Sydney CBD to Bondi Beach, all for a good cause.
This Sunday’s race will be its 55th and the first official Voltaren City2Surf. This comes as Haleon, the manufacturer of Voltaren products, teamed up with the iconic fun-run as part of a three-year naming rights partnership to highlight a shared goal of helping Aussies discover the joy of movement.
Media will be able to:
- Interview and capture images of former Ironwoman champion Candice Warner at the Voltaren City2Surf. Candice will officially open the race at 7:35am, be available for limited interviews at 8am and cross the start line from 9:30am.
- Capture on-the-ground footage of the more than 90,000 runners set to take part in this year’s Voltaren City2Surf.
- Capture live interviews and vox-pops with members of the public taking part in the Voltaren City2Surf.
