Key Facts:

1. More than $43,000 raised at a sold-out Sydney gala to fight child sex trafficking.

2. Funds will directly support Destiny Rescue's mission to rescue and care for exploited children worldwide.

Sydney, NSW — Destiny Rescue and Voice Lawyers have united with more than 150 guests for a powerful gala dinner in Sydney, raising critical funds to support Destiny Rescue’s mission to bring freedom and a future to children trapped in human trafficking and sexual exploitation.

The sold-out event, hosted by legal firm Voice Lawyers, featured a formal dinner and charity auction, with more than $43,000 raised for the not-for-profit organisation.

Destiny Rescue Chief Operations Officer Geoff Harrison expressed gratitude for the evening’s impact and described how the funds will offer life-changing support to exploited children across the world.

“There’s strong synergy between Destiny Rescue and Voice Lawyers’ missions,” Mr Harrison said. “The Voice Lawyers team works to give a voice to those who are silenced, just as we fight to bring dignity, safety and hope to the children we rescue.”

“We’re so grateful to be the beneficiary of events like this. The proceeds will go directly towards finding and freeing children from exploitation, bringing them to safety, and giving them the care and opportunities that every child deserves.”

Voice Lawyers Founder and Managing Director Kayte Lewis said the firm chose to align with Destiny Rescue because of a shared commitment to empowerment and lasting change.

“We’re proud advocates of social justice, and this year’s gala marked the fourth event Voice Lawyers has held to raise funds and awareness for Destiny Rescue,” Ms Lewis said.

“Much of our work involves helping people through incredibly difficult and vulnerable circumstances, and we see the same drive in Destiny Rescue’s efforts to free and protect children. It’s a privilege to stand alongside an organisation doing such vital, life-changing work.”
