Overview

Emirates, in partnership with the Australian Tennis Foundation, has brought its 'Force for Good' program to Sydney.

Funded by Emirates’ Force for Good program, The School’s Future Fit event delivered free, structured tennis and mental fitness activities for 500 primary school students from low socio-economic and multicultural communities in Western Sydney on 18th and 19th September.

The School’s Future Fit event aimed to empower children by fostering physical skills, social connections, and enhancing their overall physical and mental well-being through engaging activities at the Sydney Olympic Park Tennis Centre, Ken Rosewall Arena. The event included a special appearance by Australian Tennis legend and ATF Ambassador, Wally Masur. The program's overall focus was on fun, social connection, and building teamwork, further empowering children to promote their physical and mental well-being.

  • Emirates Force for Good, in partnership with the Australian Tennis Foundation, is a $2.25 million, five-year commitment to inspire brighter futures for disadvantaged children and young people through tennis.
  • The program operates in the five Australian cities where Emirates flies – Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, and Perth.
  • Over the next five years, Emirates Force for Good will deliver free tennis programs in these cities, offering a structured and supportive environment where kids can develop their sporting skills and build social connections, contributing to their physical and mental wellbeing.
  • In 2025 alone, the Emirates Force for Good program will support almost 3,000 disadvantaged children and young people, offering approximately 10,000 opportunities to play tennis across 11 community initiatives, including over 60 schools, clubs, and other community courts.
  • Funded by the Emirates Force for Good program, The Sydney 'Schools Future Fit' event was conducted across two days (18-19 September 2025) at the Sydney Olympic Park Tennis Centre, Ken Rosewall Arena.
  • The program hosted 500 children from 7 schools, including Auburn West Public School Warwick Farm Public School, Fairfield West Public School, Hilltop Road Public School, and others.
  • Activities included tennis clinics run by Australian Tennis Legend and Australian Tennis Foundation Ambassador Wally Masur and qualified coaches, interactive mental health workshops delivered by LifeChanger Foundation, and team-building exercises.
  • Students also received a unique behind-the-scenes tour of Ken Rosewall Arena, offering inspiration and a glimpse into the world of professional tennis.
  • Key delivery partners for the Sydney event were Youth of Tomorrow, Tennis NSW, and LifeChanger Foundation. The overall focus of the program is on fun, social connection, and building teamwork, empowering children to promote physical and mental well-being.
  • Emirates' Force for Good program builds on the airline's ongoing commitment to Australia, where it has invested over $230 million in sponsorships, including the Australian Open. The first year of the program will culminate in January 2026 with a special event at the Australian Open.
