The Maclean Brothers will be rowing into the Maritime Museum to promote their world record cross-pacific row
Three brothers from Edinburgh set a world record by completing the fastest unsupported row across the full Pacific Ocean, arriving in Cairns, on Saturday after 139 days at sea.
- Jamie, Ewan, and Lachlan Maclean rowed more than 9,000 miles (7,821 nautical miles) non-stop from Peru, becoming the first team to finish the full crossing from South America to Australia.
- The brothers endured storms, seasickness, injuries, and a near-disaster when Lachlan was thrown overboard, while raising over £876,000 ($1.81m AUD) toward a £1 million target for clean water projects.
- The museum is hosting the Brothers in conversation at 1pm
