Recall of Woolworths Seafood Salad (Western Australia only)

Thursday 11 September 2025: As a precaution, Woolworths is recalling the following product from its Western Australia Supermarket stores.

 

Product Detail: Woolworths Seafood Salad 250g (6003866)

 

Batch Details:

  • Use by 11/09/25

  • Use by 12/09/25

  • Use by 13/09/25

  • Use by 14/09/25

 

The product has been identified as having microbiological contamination (Listeria monocytogenes). 

 

Listeria monocytogenes may cause severe illness in pregnant women, unborn babies, neonates, the elderly, and immunocompromised individuals. 

 

The general population can also become ill from consuming food contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.

 

A full investigation into the root cause of the incident is to be undertaken by the supplier.

 

Woolworths has not received any complaints from customers regarding the product.  


Woolworths encourages customers who have purchased the product to check the use by date and only respond to the recall if it carries the use by date range as outlined above.


Customers should avoid consuming the affected product and return it to their nearest Woolworths Supermarket store for a full refund.


No other products or batches are affected by this recall. 


Woolworths takes product safety seriously and apologises for any inconvenience caused by this recall. Customers can call the toll-free customer service number for more information on 1800 103 515.
