Jane Morgan Management 2 mins read

Perth, Australia – American Uranium Limited (ASX:AMU; OTCID:AMUIF) is pleased to announce that its ordinary shares are now trading on the North American OTC (Over The Counter) Market under the ticker code AMUIF, providing enhanced access for U.S. investors to participate in the Company’s growth as it advances one of the few near-term, in-situ recovery (ISR) uranium projects in the United States.

Highlights

  • AMU shares now trade under ticker code AMUIF on the U.S. OTC Market.

  • Expands U.S. investor access with real-time trading and settlement in USD.

  • Supports North American growth strategy as AMU advances the Lo Herma ISR Uranium Project in Wyoming.

Trading on the OTC Market significantly broadens American Uranium’s investor base by enabling U.S. investors to buy and sell AMU shares in their own time zone and currency. The listing complements AMU’s existing ASX quotation and aligns with the Company’s strategic focus on developing domestic uranium resources to supply the resurgent U.S. nuclear energy sector.

American Uranium CEO and Executive Director, Bruce Lane, said:

We are pleased to advise that AMU shares are now traded on OTCID under the ticker code AMUIF. The OTC listing is an important part of our strategy to promote AMU to investors in the US, the home of our uranium projects. OTC cross trading provides access to the large North American investment community & enhanced convenience for these investors to trade AMU shares. AMU’s strategy is fundamentally North American focused, and our aim is to develop US based uranium resources for the resurgent US nuclear sector with a focus on our advanced Lo Herma project.”

The OTC Market provides transparent trading for emerging and development-stage companies that meet rigorous financial and reporting standards. AMU’s OTC compliance is supported by its ongoing adherence to the ASX Listing Rules and Australian corporate governance standards.

American Uranium’s flagship Lo Herma Project in Wyoming is positioned to benefit from strong bipartisan support for U.S. nuclear energy and policies encouraging domestic uranium production.
