SYDNEY, Australia, October 30, 2025 — ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) today announced the Falchion Ace HFX ZywOo Edition — the keyboard of choice for ROG ambassador Mathieu 'ZywOo' Herbaut. This compact 65% gaming keyboard features pre-lubed ROG HFX magnetic switches, a Rapid Trigger toggle, 8000Hz polling rate, plus integrated five-layer dampening and a silicone gasket mount for enhanced typing experiences. The keyboard also sports a signature design that reflects ZywOo’s focused mindset and competitive drive.
Widely regarded as one of the greatest Counter-Strike players of all time, ZywOo is known for his ice-cold decision making, pinpoint aim, and clutch performances under pressure. With multiple HLTV #1 titles, two Majors MVPs, and two Counter-Strike Major Championships under his belt, he’s already cemented his legacy — and he’s just getting started.
ROG HFX magnetic switches
ROG HFX magnetic switches are engineered and pre-lubed for a solid feel with lightning-fast, ultra-precise performance and a 100-million-keypress lifespan. Designed for smooth keystrokes, the switch stem and bottom housing are made of POM plastic, with a polycarbonate top housing. Additionally, the walled stem design enhances stability and keeps out dust.
An adjustable 0.1–4.0mm actuation range caters to all typing preferences. Tweaking the actuation point can be done via the multifunction button and touch panel, or through Gear Link software.
In Speed Tap mode, as soon as the system detects the input of two keys (e.g., A and D), it prioritizes the last input and automatically releases the previous one. This means pressing two opposing directional keys during FPS games will no longer cause the character to stop moving. Instead, directional changes can now be done immediately simply by releasing the previous key, eliminating any time gap for counter-strafing and ensuring precise aim every time.
Rapid Trigger toggle
Traditional mechanical switches require a return to the reset point before the next click registers. With ROG HFX magnetic switches and the Rapid Trigger feature, the switch resets instantly as it moves upward, delivering maximum strafing potential with minimal effort. Unlike most competitor keyboards that require the user to access keyboard software menus to activate or deactivate Rapid Trigger mode, the Falchion Ace HFX ZywOo Edition has a built-in toggle for convenient switching between normal typing mode and Rapid Trigger mode for the fastest typing response and key repeat rate.
8000Hz polling rate
The 8000Hz polling rate of the Falchion Ace HFX ZywOo Edition results in a 0.125ms response time — up to 8X faster than competitor keyboards.
Enhanced typing experiences
Integrated five-layer dampening and a silicone gasket mount absorb pinging noises and provide a more cushioned typing feel for enhanced typing experiences. Competitor gaming keyboards as well as keyboards with analog switches are unable to match the keystroke acoustics of the Falchion Ace HFX ZywOo Edition.
Additional features
The Falchion Ace HFX ZywOo Edition features two USB-C® ports on either side of the rear edge of the keyboard, allowing users to connect two PCs simultaneously and quick-toggle between them. The placement of the ports also allow for more flexible, neater setups.
A bundled keyboard cover keeps dust away from the Falchion Ace HFX ZywOo Edition when not in use. It can also be placed under the keyboard as a tray mount.
The Falchion Ace HFX ZywOo Edition has two pairs of keyboard feet of different heights, giving it three ergonomic tilt angles to suit gamer preferences.
