Brisbane, Australia – TerraCom Limited (ASX: TER) has confirmed that the life of its flagship Blair Athol Mine in Queensland has been extended to 2033, following an updated JORC Code Resource and Reserve assessment.

The 2025 update highlights Blair Athol’s ongoing performance as a long-life, low-cost cornerstone asset, underpinned by strong geology, disciplined mine planning, and sustained operational excellence. Despite annual depletion from mining and sales, Blair Athol has successfully maintained or extended its life of mine for four consecutive years.

Highlights

  • Life of Mine extended to 2033 based on an updated JORC assessment.

  • Marketable Coal Reserves of 14.0 Mt as at 30 June 2025, supporting ~8 years of production at 1.6–1.8 Mtpa.

  • Four straight years of life-of-mine extensions, despite annual depletion.

  • Blair Athol remains TerraCom’s cornerstone asset, providing stable cash flow and growth capacity.

Managing Director Danny McCarthy said the updated JORC statement reinforces Blair Athol’s strength as one of Queensland’s most consistent coal operations.

Blair Athol continues to demonstrate its strength as a long life, low cost and reliable operation, and remains a cornerstone asset for TerraCom. The 2025 JORC Code update reaffirms the quality and optionality of the resource, our disciplined approach to mine planning and the capability of our team. Over the past four years, Blair Athol has consistently maintained or extended its Life of Mine despite annual depletion, underscoring the asset’s resilience in a softer price environment, and the effectiveness of our focus on operational excellence, safety and cost control.

This sustained performance reinforces the strength of our asset base and the discipline of our operating culture, ensuring TerraCom continues to deliver reliable returns to shareholders.

The updated assessment, completed by independent experts JB Mining Services and The Minserve Group, confirms Coal Resources of 27.0 Mt, Coal Reserves of 18.0 Mt, and Marketable Coal Reserves of 14.0 Mt, all reported in accordance with the 2012 Edition of the JORC Code.
