Africultures Festival Returns to Sydney Olympic Park!

Now in its 17th year, Africultures is back at Cathy Freeman Park on Saturday 25 October, celebrating the vibrant cultures of Africa with 70+ market stalls, live music, dance, fashion, and food from across the continent.

Festival Director Fatma Mohamed says, “It’s cheaper than going to Africa! In one day, you’ll experience the rich diversity of African cultures, cuisine, and talent.”

Expect the African Market Place, Nile Food Court, Watotos Kids Corner, drumming workshops, and the ever-popular Fashion Parade. Thousands attend each year to enjoy this unique celebration of culture, community, and creativity.

All proceeds go towards running the event, proudly powered by volunteers.
