Australian property group, Geonet, partners with ELLE to launch landmark
ELLE Resort & Beach Club in Seminyak, Bali

Australian-led Geonet property and finance group secures exclusive partnership with global lifestyle icon ELLE for Bali's most exciting new beachfront development

In a major milestone for Australian-led property development, Geonet Property & Finance Group has announced its strategic partnership with international fashion and lifestyle powerhouse ELLE to deliver the highly anticipated ELLE Resort & Beach Club, set to open in 2028 in Seminyak, Bali.

Spearheaded by Australian entrepreneur Chad Egan, Founder and Chief Executive of Geonet, the project represents the next evolution in lifestyle-led property investment in Bali — a destination that remains one of the most beloved and frequently visited by Australian travellers. It also represents ELLE’s debut resort and beach club concept in Southeast Asia and the brand’s third global hospitality venture, following successful projects in Paris, Amsterdam, and Dubai.

Located on a prime beachfront site in Bali’s iconic Seminyak, the ELLE Resort & Beach Club will feature 170 branded suites, a flagship beach club, rooftop VIP lounges, curated wellness offerings, designer retail outlets, restaurants, and fitness centres,  all anchored by the stylish, sophisticated DNA of the ELLE brand.

“This is a landmark moment for Geonet and for Australian investors,” says Chad Egan, CEO and Founder of Geonet. “Partnering with an internationally revered brand like ELLE puts us on the map in a powerful way. It’s a bold step forward — and one that reflects how Australians are reimagining what property investment in Bali looks like.”

Egan adds, “About 75% of travellers to Bali stay in hotels, yet most of the local property market has historically been geared toward villas. The ELLE Resort fills that gap, combining aspirational design with world-class hospitality and accessibility through innovative ownership models.”

Geonet’s partnership with ELLE - which this year celebrates its 80th anniversary since the brand was launched - reflects a growing trend among Australian investors who are seeking lifestyle-led, professionally managed property that delivers both personal enjoyment and income potential. The project includes fractional ownership opportunities, enabling buyers to co-own a piece of the resort and benefit from both returns and personal usage.

François Coruzzi, CEO of ELLE International Licenses, says Bali’s creative energy and longstanding popularity with Australians made it the perfect location for this next phase in ELLE’s global hospitality journey.

“ELLE is not just a media icon – it is a lifestyle brand,” says Coruzzi. “The ELLE Resort & Beach Club will deliver an emotionally immersive guest experience rooted in fashion, beauty, and modern luxury. Bali’s vibrant spirit and Seminyak’s beachside culture perfectly align with our brand's ethos.”

Geonet’s track record in bridging lifestyle branding with property innovation has already earned the group partnerships with major players such as Flight Centre, Cross Hotels, and Colliers. The collaboration with ELLE signals a new high point in that evolution, especially as Australian buyers look offshore amid growing domestic affordability challenges.

“Nearly half of all Australian homes now cost over a million dollars,” says Egan. “We’re seeing more savvy investors use their capital growth at home to step into international, income-generating assets, and Bali, with its year-round tourism and lifestyle appeal, is the ideal place to do that.”

With construction commencing in late 2025, the ELLE Resort & Beach Club is positioned to become one of the most desirable addresses in Bali, offering both aspirational living and strong investment appeal.
