The Victorian Chamber of Commerce and Industry 2 mins read

The Victorian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) has announced a series of updates to its Board and Executive Council, further strengthening our organisation’s leadership as we continue to advocate for a stronger, safer and more competitive business environment in Victoria.

Adrian Kloeden has completed his term as President. Adrian joined the VCCI Board in 2013, served three years as Deputy President and three years as President. He will continue to contribute to VCCI as Past President, remaining on the Board.

VCCI also acknowledges Jeremy Blackshaw, who has completed his maximum consecutive terms with his most recent three-year term as Deputy President. Jeremy will transition from the Deputy Presidency to continue his service on the Executive Council.

VCCI acknowledges with gratitude the significant and lasting contributions of both Adrian and Jeremy, thanking them for their service and influential leadership, which have played a vital role in strengthening the organisation and advancing the interests of Victorian business.

VCCI confirmed our new Board leadership team, with Brendan Britten appointed President and Clare McCartin appointed Deputy President.

Brendan Britten is the Managing Partner of Pitcher Partners Melbourne and brings more than 25 years of experience advising businesses on financial strategy, governance and growth. Clare McCartin, National Managing Partner of Davidson Search & Advisory, is a highly regarded executive search specialist with decades of experience in senior leadership recruitment and public-sector advisory.

Both bring extensive experience and a strong commitment to advancing VCCI’s strategic priorities on behalf of Victorian business.

In addition to these leadership changes, VCCI welcomed two new Directors to the Board:

  • Dan Feldman, Managing Partner of HR Legal, a specialist in employment and safety law.
  • Matthew Hibbins, Partner at Minter Ellison and a leading corporate and mergers and acquisitions lawyer.

These appointments enhance the depth, diversity and expertise of the Board and Executive Council, ensuring VCCI is well positioned to meet the needs of its members and respond to the evolving economic and policy environment.
