ANZGOG welcomes three new Board Directors, expanding expertise and strengthening governance to advance gynaecological cancer research

The Australia New Zealand Gynaecological Oncology Group (ANZGOG) is pleased to announce the appointment of three new Board Directors: Beth Slatyer, Catherine Whitby GAICD and Grace Chu GAICD. They will join ANZGOG's existing Board, comprising 12 esteemed leaders with deep clinical and research expertise.

These new appointments bring diverse and highly complementary strengths to ANZGOG’s governance, spanning regulatory law, health policy, lived experience advocacy, digital innovation, strategy, and organisational leadership. Their combined experience will further support ANZGOG’s mission to improve the lives of everyone with a lived experience of gynaecological cancer through pioneering research and clinical trials.

ANZGOG Chair, Professor Clare Scott AM, welcomed the appointments and said:

“We are delighted to have Beth, Catherine and Grace join ANZGOG’s Board. Their breadth of expertise, from regulatory law and health policy to digital transformation and lived experience complements the deep clinical and scientific knowledge of our existing Directors. Together, they will play a vital role in guiding ANZGOG’s next chapter as we continue to lead research that delivers real outcomes for women with gynaecological cancer.”
