Dwyer Quality Homes marks 40 year milestone with major celebration event

Dwyer Quality Homes 1 min read

Dwyer Quality Homes has marked a major milestone, gathering more than 80 team members, clients and industry partners last night to celebrate the company’s legacy of home building, local jobs and community contribution across the Sunshine Coast and beyond.

Established in 1985, the family-owned company has grown to become one of the region’s most trusted and award-winning residential builders, with more than 1,950 homes delivered for families across the Sunshine Coast, as well as broader South East Queensland.

Managing Director Alex Dwyer said the birthday celebration acknowledges the people, partners, clients, and communities who have been part of the Dwyer Quality Homes story over the past four decades.

“The 40-year celebration is incredibly special for us as it’s a chance to recognise the families we’ve built homes for, the contractors and suppliers who’ve stood beside us, and the team members who have shaped who we are today,” he said. "These relationships and local roots are a big part of our longevity."

“We’re really proud of every home we’ve built, but the real privilege is when clients come back to build their second or even third home with us. We’ve always stood by transparent and honest pricing, and that’s an important part of our business that will never change."

Across four decades, Dwyer Quality Homes has also supported numerous local sporting clubs, surf lifesaving organisations, charity golf days, and countless community-led initiatives.

“Many of the activities and organisations we sponsor have been chosen directly by our team members; it’s our way of giving back and supporting the activities and events that they are really passionate about. It’s great for our team, and it’s great for our community,” Alex added.
