Money magazine 3 mins read

Money has awarded the best-value telco providers for 2026, showcasing providers who can help Aussies save on their monthly internet and mobile bills.

TPG was equal first in two of the three mobile awards, with the TPG 50GB medium plan taking top spot alongside the iiNet 50GB medium plan (noting iiNet is owned by TPG Telecom) in the Best-Value Mobile Plans – High Usage category, and the TPG 25GB small plan winning the Best-Value Mobile Plan – International Calls alongside the iiNet 25GB small plan.

The TPG 50GB medium plan is $35 per month and $315 annual, prepaid monthly and uses the Vodafone 5G network.

“There are plenty of monthly savings that Australians can look for across their mobile and internet deals,” said Michelle Baltazar, editor-in-chief at Money.

“We ranked winners for their costs over twelve months of a no-contract or prepaid plan.”

“If customers can access a mobile provider that offers savings and the flexibility of no contracts, that’s a win-win that we encourage everyone to look out for.”

The Best-Value Mobile Plan – Average Use, was averaged to Spintel for its $22 mobile plan.

The plan is $3 cheaper a month than its nearest competitors in the category, totalling $216 a year, includes 25GB of data on the Optus Network with no contract.
