Melbourne North Police to host toy drive for Ronald McDonald House Parkville families this Saturday

 

This Saturday 13 December 2025, Families staying at Ronald McDonald House Parkville will be treated to a festive day of surprises this Saturday, thanks to the annual Melbourne North Police Christmas Toy Drive. This is the 24th year the initiative has been running.   

Led by Melbourne North Police, the Toy Drive sees officers community collect donations throughout the year before delivering many toys and gifts to children and families supported by Ronald McDonald House Charities Victoria & Tasmania (RMHC Vic & Tas). 

On Saturday, Police members will arrive with patrol cars and motorbikes for children to explore, climb into and meet the officers behind the badges. Families will also enjoy a BBQ lunch, Christmas activities and a special wildlife visit featuring reptiles and other animals. 

The Christmas Toy Drive has become a much-loved tradition for RMHC families, bringing a moment of joy and togetherness during what can be an extremely challenging time for parents and children receiving hospital care.
